Name: Fish & Chips
Ingredients: 4 cod fillets; Frying pan; 200 g flour; 2 tsp baking powder; 0,5 tsp of salt; 250 ml beer; Ingredients for the chips; 8 large floury potatoes; 2 liters of water; 1 tbsp of salt

The fish
Mix the salt, baking powder and flour in a bowl. Add the beer and mix to a smooth batter. Put the fish in the batter and fry it.
Depending on the size of the fillet the frying takes between 4 and 6 minutes. Take the fish out of the oil when golden brown.
Let the fish drain on a paper towel.
The chips
Peel the potatoes and cut into fries. Rinse the fries with water.
In a pan bring the fries, salt and water to a boil. Turn the heat low when the water boils. Let the fries cook until they start to burst. Take them out with a skimmer and let them cool on a rack. Make sure the fries don’t overlap. Let them cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Turn the temperature of the frying pan to 130 degrees and fry the fries for 5 minutes.
Take the fries out and let them cool in the fridge. Turn the heat of the fryer to 190 degrees and fry the fries one more time for 3-4 minutes.
Serve with a sauce to your liking.
