Pea soup

Water 1.5 L
Salt 1 tbsp
Split peas 300 g
Blade chops 2
Dried laurel leave 1
Celeriac 1
Thin leeks 2
Fresh celery 25 g
Smoked sausage 1


  1. Boil the water with the salt, peas, blade chops and laurel leave already added. Boil for 20 minutes total with the lid on.
  2. Cut the celeriac into small blocks.
  3. Remove the outer leaves of the leeks. Cut the white and green of the leeks in rings of approximately 1 cm.
  4. Shred the fresh celery into small pieces.
  5. Wash the celeriac, leeks and fresh celery in a sieve. Let all the water drain!
  6. Get the blade chops from the boiling water and cut it into small pieces. Then put it back into the water.
  7. Add the celeriac, leeks and ¾ off the fresh celery to the mixture.
  8. Add the smoked sausage and let all of it boil for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the smoked sausage and cut it into slices. Return the slices to the soup.
  10. Let all of it boil for 5 minutes. Garnish it with the remaining celery and then it is good to go!
  11. Do you want to use a normal blender? Just put everything in the blender and blend until the desired smoothness is reached and then warm up on the stove.
